JoAnn has worked at Hoffman GMC since March of 2003. She received a Degree in Accounting from Edison State College. She enjoys serving Christ and other in her work at Hoffman.

Rebecca Garrett
Rebecca Garrett, Children’s Ministry
 
Rebecca Garrett was hired as our Director of Children’s Ministry Director in September of 2016. She has served as a full-time elementary teacher, but has taken a break while raising her family. She brings her planning and execution together with her love of children in her service to Hoffman GMC.

Norman Hiester, Music Director

Norman Hiester has been the Director of Music as well as Organist at Hoffman GMC since June of 2004, He has a total of 30 years of service as organist, choir director and bell choir director between two churches in West Milton and Dayton. Norman received a Bachelor of Science in Music Education 1977 at West Chester State College (now West Chester University) in Pennsylvania. He is married to Debra (nee Shade) and they have two grown boys; Nathan and James.

 

Ty Williams, Pastor

Ty joined Hoffman GMC as their pastor in July 2023. He is originally from Monroe, Ohio. His own personal conversion took place in April of 2003 at Ichthus Music Festival, while there with his youth group

After graduating from Monroe High School in 2007, Ty went to Ohio State which is where he met his wife Holly. His call to ministry occurred during his freshman year as he was being discipled in the ministry of Cru.

He began local church ministry after college, and attended United Theological Seminary, graduating in 2016. Ty was ordained an Elder in the United Methodist Church at the 2019 West Ohio Annual Conference. He was approved as an Elder in the Global Methodist Church in early June 2023.
 
Ty and Holly have been married since 2011 and have a daughter, Caroline.
